| Dear
Duane,
We did not realize that we were
running out of time. Our daughter,
Jennifer,
is a Senior in High School and has been playing
Softball since she was ten
years old. Her dream has always been to play Softball in College and
to further
her education. We had assumed she would get Softball offers through
her exposure
with her Summer teams. Her coach, Ricky Price of the Texas
Challengers had
suggested she have a Video
made through College Sports
Exposure.
When we met with you, you had
suggested we also use your services for the Online Profile and
Resume, stressing how important the timing was due to the fact she
is a Senior and the first signing for Softball started November 13th
and would not be
able to sign again until the second signing in
April for 4 year colleges or January
for 2 year colleges.
You worked vigorously with Jennifer
in order to accomplish this
for her within 2
weeks even though we had rain delays. You
were able to send out her resumes
within a few days and the responses came immediately from College
Coaches.
Coach Garris, from Henderson State
University, wrote saying he had heard a lot
of great things about Jennifer and wanted her to call if she was
interested.
Jennifer called him on a Monday night and we were off to
Arkadelphia, Arkansas
at 8am Tuesday.
Luckily we had received her completed Video the night
before
and was able to take it with us. Jennifer met with
Coach Garris and Coach
Terry,
the girls on the team, visited the University and applied her
application within
two days. Coach Garris and
Coach Terry were very impressed with Jennifer
and
stated they wanted her to be a part of their team.
Upon our departure Jennifer
was positive that she wanted
to go to Henderson State
and was not interested
in looking at any other schools.
Thank you Duane!! Without your
services, this may not have been
possible.
Suggestion to other parents -- You
should get these services accomplished
for
your child by their Junior year so they may have
additional time to be scouted.
In our daughter's case,
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!!
Sincerely,
Charles & Stella Head
