July 11, 2004 - Shannon Smith, Mallory Cantler,
Brittany Barnhill, Jennifer Smith and Amanda Crabtree lead this awesome class of Texas pitchers.
Shannon Smith (right picture) pitches for Cinco Ranch and 16U Houston Power. She moved to Texas from California. Shannon

Indiana,
Shannon was gunned at 62 and 63 mph.
Brittany Barnhill (left picture) or BB pitches for Northwest High School (Rhome, Texas) and
New York Beach Girls. Brittany is 6 ft. tall and 158 lbs.
College Sports Exposure gunned BB fastball between 63 and 66 mph and her screw

Tournament in Boulder Colorado. Brittany mixed in the screw ball and rise
ball with her fastball. At 16U ASA
Nationals, Brittany was gunned at 67 mph pitching for the Fort Worth Batbusters during the whole
tournament. Brittany has a rise ball, drop-curve, change-up and screw
ball. She batted in the fourth spot in the line-up for the Batbusters and
had 4 homeruns over the fence.

College Sports Exposure radar Amanda throwing her fastball at 60 mph. She also hits homeruns.
Dyane Holmes form Kempner High School and Texas Challengers Gold is another good

Courtney is 5' 9" tall and still growing. She reminds of a right
handed Cat Osterman. She throws about 60 mph and can throw a rise ball,
drop and curve. She lives in East Bernard.
