College Sports Exposure Home Run Derby Winners (Softball)

In a matter of seconds, a home run can help any team win a tight game being dominated by pitchers.  Babe Ruth,  Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, Mark  McGwire & Sammy Sosa are legendary in baseball because of their home run hitting heroics.  

Home runs are important in softball as well!  College Sports Exposure filmed three high school lady juniors hitting home runs during their filming sessions this year.  A filming session is a draining experience.   If a lady can hit the ball out of the park during a filming session, they definitely deserve recognition as a home runner hitter.  

College Sports Exposure traveled to Dayton, Texas to film Brittany Tuck.  Brittany is a pitcher and infielder for Dayton High School (4A) and for the U18 Texas Storm.  Brittany hit 4 homeruns over the fence in her filming session (see Brittany's on-line player profile for more information about Brittany). 

A couple of weeks later, College Sports Exposure traveled to Katy Taylor High School to film the Renegades.  Brooke Bogdanski hit three home runs over the left field fence. Brook plays 3rd base and short stop for the Renegades and 3rd base for Langham Creek High School in the Cy-Fair school district.

A month later, College Sports Exposure was back in Dayton filming Leiann Pettus from Dripping Springs, Texas.  Leiann plays 2nd base for Dripping Spring High School and 2nd base and outfield for her travel team.  Leiann hit only one ball over the fence and it was from a slap after a fake bunt.
