Highlights:  In 2000, Fort Bend Austin High School were District 20-5A Champions and Regional Semi-Finalists. Larissa was a 20-5A All-District Pitcher and Fort Bend Herald-Coaster All-Area Pitcher.  Larissa had 4 shut-outs against Stratford (3-0), Dulles (10-0) and Willowridge twice.  She pitched a "perfect" game against Willowridge.  She shut-out Stratford 3-0 in a play-off warm-up game.  In 1999, Fort Bend Austin was District 20-5A Co-Champions.  Larissa made the Herald Coaster All-Area Team as a Pitcher and won the Fort Bend Austin Most Improved Player (MIP) Award. Larissa pitched 2 shut-outs against Friendswood (1-0) and Dulles (7-0) and had 3 innings of shut-out relief against Clements.  Larissa never lost a single District 20-5A game in 1999 and 2000.
